Is this a funeral plan?
No. This is life insurance, not a prepaid funeral plan. The person you choose as beneficiary can use the money for burial, cremation, final bills, or another urgent need unless a policy says otherwise.
Will my phone number get sold?
No. Your information goes to Blake only. It is used so he can call you about your quote, explain what he found, and answer your questions. You will not be put on a call list.
Do I have to take a medical exam?
Usually not. Most final expense plans are written on a few health questions with no exam and no lab work. Blake will tell you up front if a plan you are looking at is an exception.
Can I be turned down for my age or my health?
Final expense is built for people who have been declined elsewhere. There are plans that ask only a handful of questions and plans that ask none at all, and coverage is commonly available well into the eighties. Blake's job is to find the one you fit.
Will the price go up as I get older?
On the whole-life plans Blake writes for final expense, the premium is locked at the age you take it out and the coverage does not expire as long as the premium is paid. Terms vary by carrier and by plan, so ask him to confirm it on yours.
Is the quote really free?
Yes. There is no fee for the quote or for Blake's help. Independent brokers are paid by the insurance company only if you decide to take a policy, so comparing your options costs you nothing either way.
What actually happens after I hit submit?
Blake looks over your answers, pulls quotes that fit them, and calls you from (228) 357-8505 within one business day. That is it. No drip of calls from strangers, and nothing is bought or signed on that call.
Am I committing to anything by filling this out?
No. The form starts a conversation and nothing more. You are not applying, not signing, and not obligated to buy. Plenty of people go through it, see the numbers, and decide the timing is not right.
What if my health is not perfect?
